One of the fun things to do in Key West is to visit some of the city's historical bars, and Captain Tony's Saloon should certainly be on the top of most lists.

The Hemingway House is located on Whitehead Street across from the Key West Lighthouse and was the home of Ernest Hemingway from 1931 to 1939. During this time, Hemingway completed a significant portion of his writing work.

One of the great things to see in Key West is the Key West lighthouse located at 938 Whitehead Street. The history of the lighthouse dates back to 1825, when a 65 foot whitewashed brick tower was constructed to warn ships of the dangerous shoals around the island.

The special charm of Key West comes not only from the gorgeous sunsets that grace the beaches daily, but also from the interesting local people that characterize Duval Street with its unique shops and galleries as well as Mallory Street, famous for its daily Sunset Celebration.
