Crystal Kayaks

The new Crystal Clear Key West Kayaking tours take you out to one of Key West's most naturally stunning areas, the back country area of the Gulf of Mexico, where the mangrove islands mixed with the coral reef gardens at the ocean floor create one of the area's most unique ecosystems. On board the 100% crystal clear kayaks, you will be able to maneuver your way through the mangrove islands while observing the coral reef ecosystem located beneath the water's surface.

There is no other tour in Key West quite like this! The tour is designed with the idea of "create your own adventure." Guests are able to choose what activities they do as well as the length of time they want to spend doing it. The main focus of course are the crystal clear kayaks, but guests can also spend some time snorkeling with our complimentary snorkeling gear. Or they can simply lay out on the spacious 33-foot catamaran, the Beach Cat, and soak in the sun.

The clear kayaks allow you to combine the experience of paddling through the shallow waters of the back country with the experience of glass-bottom viewing, except with this type of glass-bottom viewing you get to explore areas of Key West's back country that the larger glass-bottom boats would never be able to access.

The full tour lasts 3.5 hours with about 20-25 minutes of travel time out to the back country area. In addition to the clear kayaks and snorkel gear, the tour also includes complimentary sodas, water, and snacks. Guests are welcome to bring a cooler with alcoholic beverages (no glass) to be drank only after all activities are completed.
